Because this hair is naturally very dark it has to be bleached, chemically stripped and coated in silicone to work in lighter colours. Colour matching is one of the most important parts of the process and one of the biggest reasons extensions can look unnatural.
At your consultation we assess your natural hair colour in person. We look at the tone, the depth and any natural variation throughout your hair.
European virgin hair has natural variation built in it is not a flat uniform colour which is exactly why it blends so seamlessly. We match the hair to your natural colour before sourcing.
With proper care your Léra Hair extensions will last 3 to 5 years. The hair does not degrade, shed excessively or mat. The only reason to replace it is if you want a change in length, colour or volume.
Genius wefts require a maintenance appointment every 8 to 10 weeks. As your natural hair grows the weft moves down and needs to be repositioned. Maintenance appointments take approximately 1 to 2 hours. You walk in, we move the weft back up, you walk out looking flawless.
Between appointments you care for your extensions exactly as you would your natural hair.

How often do I need maintenance?

Can I colour the extensions?
Yes. Because we use genuine European virgin hair the extensions can be coloured. We recommend having this done by a professional with experience working with extensions.
Can I style them with heat?
Yes. European virgin hair responds to heat styling exactly like natural hair. Use a heat protectant as you normally would.
Can I swim and exercise?
Yes. Tie your hair back before swimming and rinse thoroughly after exposure to salt or chlorine.
